Personal Banker - (Belleville, IL)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Evaluates needs of potential customers and offers appropriate financial products. Prepares and compiles new customer application and details to open new accounts. Process monetary transactions for customers, which can include cashing checks, accepting deposits, handling loan and credit cards payments. Provides on-going relationship servicing with current customers to maintain goodwill and gain additional business. Responds to customer inquiries and requests. Promotes and cross sells other Bank of Springfield products and services. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Min of a high-school diploma (or equivalency) required. 1-3 yrs of previous banking background, including knowledge of banking products, policies, and procedures is preferred but not required. Background with Ms office products is required. Excellent issue solving, communication, customer service, follow up and management skills are required.
