Master Scheduler - (San Antonio, TX)

Translates customer orders into a work schedule involving several sequential operations. Controls various production factors to ensure balanced and leveled loads; appropriate utilization of available capacity (labor, tools and equipment); and bottleneck management, allowing for a controlled flow of approved material to meet delivery qualifications. Develops, publishes and maintains the master production schedule, balancing work-in-process, resources, and capacity in conjunction with the Production Managers. Negotiates corrective actions to product schedules when dictated by changes in customer delivery qualifications. Acts as a liaison between production, engineering, purchasing, sales and customer service to control, and adjust if necessary, the master schedule. Assists other production support groups in achieving corporate goals. Controls the rate of inductions to all production cells based on customer qualifications, capacity and work-in-process levels.
