Sr Manager, Design - (Muscatine, IA)

Summary As the Sr. Manager, Design, you will be responsible for developing the strategy and vision for your teams and implementing solutions to provide sales growth and efficiencies. Teams include Design Applications and Workplace Design. You will offer leadership and developmental support for direct reports, including supporting managers and remote members on the team. This position will include capacity management, thought leadership, strategic discussion, and negotiation to balance team workloads and initiatives. The perfect candidate will be a strong communicator, creative, insightful, and versatile, with the expertise to manage personal and team workload and work to aggressive project schedules. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise, coordinate, provide leadership and review work of assigned members. Conduct performance evaluations and recommend merit increases, promotions, transfers, corrective actions and other personnel actions. Interview and recommend applicants for employment.
