The Arc of Evansville is now hiring for a Special Education Teacher. The Special Education Teacher plans and implements curriculum and developmentally appropriate activities for students, documents children’s learning through the updating and maintaining of education portfolios, prepares and follows required lesson plans and reports including ISTAR-KR, etc., assists with completion of IEP’s, monitors children’s progress, and attends annual case reviews, maintains current records and files for all students in class, manages children and teacher’s assistants, and communicates with parents.
