Criminal Justice Mental Health (CJMH) Clinician/ Intake Specialist Overview To provide trauma-informed care including assessment, referral, therapy and case management services to Jefferson Center consumers as deemed appropriate by the guidelines of accepted clinical practice and the Office of Behavioral Health to serve adults with serious mental illness involved or at risk of being involved in the legal system. To provide info, education, liaison, and transition services to various networks within JCMH and with federal, state, and community based agencies and resources. Also performs clinical assessments/ intakes of new consumers that reside at Intervention Community Corrections Services (ICCS). Determines eligibility for JCMH services based on presenting problem and diagnostic assessment in accordance with established JCMH practices. Completes all opening paperwork and as indicated schedules follow up clinician and MD appointments.
