Production Technician - Lab Relief - (Morgan, UT)

PURPOSE Holcim (US) Inc., the largest manufacturer and distributor of cement and related construction materials currently has an immediate opening for one Production Technician - Lab Relief Position(s) for its manufacturing facility located in Morgan, Utah. CRITICAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Knowing sampling points, frequencies, techniques and safe sampling procedures * Properly perform laboratory tests including but not limited to Blaine, .325 fineness, CaCO3 determination, X-ray pellet preparation and analysis, Pack Set, LOl, -45um fineness, free lime titration, Microscopy determinations, Fuel analysis and calcination percent * Interpret test results and make proper adjustments to production process to maintain quality targets * Possess adequate technical skills to run through feedback, meeting participation and interaction Guidelines * Must be capable of operating the x-ray and all automation equipment in manual mode * Must have thorough understanding of the automation equipment in order to maintain
