Production Worker - (Sturgis, MI)

Job overview This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Inspects, labels and packages raw and finished products. May be required to maintain records according to Good Manufacturing Practices. May be working in a clean-room environment. Moderate supervision is required. HS Diploma/GED required, Steel toed boots that come ABOVE the ankle are required & safety glasses are required. Primary role will be operating packaging machines such as depalletizers, casepackers, labelers, and cappers on packaging lines. Some manufacturing or equivalent background is required, forklift is background is preferred but not required. Background with running a casepacker, depalletizer, capper, labeler and an electronic inventory tracking system is desirable. Applicants must be proficient using a computer. Applicants need to be able to communicate well with a team but also work autonomously to solve problems on the production line.
