Supervising Producer, Kansas City Live - (Kansas City, MO)

KSHB-TV, the NBC affiliate in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Supervising Producer "Kansas City Live", our hour-long local details and entertainment lifestyle program (portions of which are sponsored). Applicant must have prior news or equivalent producing background. Must be a strong writer with excellent management expertise who can complete tasks on deadline while planning programs far in advance. Duties include, but are not limited to: booking guests for future segments, producing theme segments and promotional spots, putting together a rundown, writing stories and teases, and timing the show. Works closely with sales department, Co-Hosts and Associate Producer on planning future broadcasts and special events.
