BioTelemetry Research - Imaging Scientist - (Rochester, NY)
Overview The Imaging Scientist works with the imaging science team on the technical aspects of studies in Oncology and Neurology. This includes development of imaging protocols, imaging review charters, analysis methodologies, and algorithms. The Imaging Scientist works closely with the core lab to ensure that quality results are obtained efficiently. Responsibilities Development of image analysis requirements and methodologies Development of imaging protocols to support required imaging endpoints Development of algorithms to automate manual processes, calculate advanced imaging endpoints, and improve existing processes Support our core lab by resolving issues where current implementations of algorithms perform suboptimally Perform review of imaging endpoints to ensure that the analysis is performed properly and all results are plausible. Requirements Education: PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent background, with research background in medical imaging.
