Senior Geologist - (Charlotte, NC)

Position: Senior Geologist Requisition Number: 2018-2130-05 S&ME, Inc., a leading design, engineering, environmental and multi-disciplined professional services firm, is seeking a full time, Senior Geologist for our Charlotte, North Carolina location. The successful applicant will coordinate and perform field oversight of drilling operations, perform field sampling, classify soils, coordinate laboratory testing, produce CADD drawings and author proposals/reports/ deliverables. They will also manage the investigation phases of transportation geotechnical projects. Key assignments include development of scope and fee proposals for geotechnical projects, project management, developing field exploration plans, coordination of field explorations, logging of soil and rock samples, analysis and technical writing, client relations, technical oversight of staff and reports.
