Position details Provides manufacturing process sequence planning and best sheet layout in response to customer RFQs (request for quotations). Modify processes based on requirement changes made by the customer or the plant. Recommends changes to manufacturing processes based on margins to optimize manufacturing resources. Writes job tickets to meet the production and customer qualifications. Essential Job duties Provides job estimates to Estimator and/or their manager in response to RFQs from GMN customers by evaluating the best process sequencing for manufacturing, including sheet layout and materials used, using knowledge and understanding of current production equipment, materials, layout and GMN potential and competencies Per specifications, writes production tickets providing process sequence planning to ensure that all procedures and qualifications are met based on available manufacturing processes; specifying work stations required.
