Engineer/Analyst – Project Analysis & Market Assessment Description This position is in the Project Analysis & Market Assessment team within the Southern Power Company (SPC) Finance organization. The Project Analysis & Market Assessment team is responsible for SPC's operating margin projections, integrated resource planning, load forecasting, structuring and analytical support of SPC's marketing efforts. The successful candidate's main responsibilities will be the development of margin projections for the renewable fleet along with monitoring of the operation of these facilities and providing reporting and support around these facilities. In addition, the candidate will support marketing opportunities with wholesale pricing analysis for existing assets and target markets. Key responsibilities Develop financial projections for SPC assets, primarily the renewable assets. Develop and utilize tools to monitor and report on actual operation of SPC's assets, primarily the renewable facilities.
