GENERAL FUNCTION: Under the general supervision of the Foundational Studies Director, the candidate must demonstrate mastery of basic education competencies that prepare students for the high school equivalency examinations. Instruction will be contextualized for adults who have exited the public school system prior to graduating and who are seeking educational advancement and employment that leads to family sustaining wages. Courses will include written and oral communication, English language acquisition, mathematics, social studies, science, employability and life skills.
