Job Description Job Code: 06042-37876 Full time No Weekends Central Sterile Tech Position overview: Under the direction of the Manager, Supervisor or Charge Person is independently capable of functioning in all areas of the department. May be assigned supervisor responsibilities in any area or act as lead in any designated area at various times. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES A. Licensure/ Certification/ Registration: Must have certificate of completion for Sterile Processing Course or demonstrates acceptable knowledge of microbiology, anatomy, etc.,as determined by Director. B. Education: High-school graduate or equivalent preferred. C. Background: Must have background in all areas of Sterile Processing. And at least 1 yr background. FUNCTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Functional Qualifications: Required sufficient vision and hearing to perform duties. Requires frequent bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of trays/equipment, and sufficient manual dexterity to operate therapeutic equipment.
