Position summary BASIC FUNCTION: Teaches/coaches work cell teaming activities from individual to groups in a lean manufacturing environment by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Explains and demonstrates use of apparatus and equipment. Explains and demonstrates principles, techniques and methods of regulating movement of product through the cell to achieve proficiency in activity. Observes teammates during practice to detect and correct mistakes. Understands, explains and enforces safety rules and regulations. Explains quality expectations. Explains team building / team dynamics Explains lean manufacturing principles Explains issue solving and decision making process Explains method on team measurements and their team of scorecard. Weekly cost reports Scrap reports Control new style verifications, pilots and markets Expedite and have current status knowledge of all special units. Report all delays and estimated time of completion to appropriate areas.
