City Rochester State Minnesota Telecommute No Department Security Job overview Patrols Mayo Clinic Rochester facilities and property to maintain order, protect personnel, and prevent fire, theft, vandalism, illegal entry, etc. Enforces Mayo policies and provides assistance to patients, visitors, and employees. Responds to other Security requirements of the Mayo Clinic Rochester campus. Responds to complaints of wrongdoing, prepares incident reports/activity logs, and works in the Security control centers. Requirements High-school diploma or GED is required. Additional requirements Previous security background, as well as background with computers preferred. Associate of Arts degree is preferred. Must be able to operate independently. Requires good written and spoken communication expertise. Requires strong sense of customer service and people skills to interact with patients, visitors and employees. Strong analytical abilities are necessary. Must be able to adapt to unpredictable and stressful situations.
