Coastal Resources Scientist Manager - (Baton Rouge, LA)

Supplemental Details This position is located in the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA), in the Strategic Planning Branch, Plan Development Section, Planning & Research Division. This Coastal Resources Scientist Manager position performs functions essential to coastal restoration and flood protection. The person in this position manages Plan Development Section staff and directs contract staff through task orders to perform work for an important segment, comprehensive Master Plan development and implementation, of the CPRA's overall coastal restoration and hurricane flood protection program. Duties include managing and overseeing the successful development of the State's legislatively mandated Coastal Master Plan, supervises the development of contractual proposals and manages contracts. Responsible for Research and Plan Development activities related to the CPRA's overall coastal restoration and hurricane flood protection program.
