HVAC Dispatcher/Customer Service - (Palm Desert, CA)

Position overview Job Description: To ensure technicians are properly assigned and dispatched to their calls appropriately. To close out their calls and ensure the service department is running efficiently by ensuring technicians are not waiting for long periods of time between appointments and arriving on time to our client’s homes. Maintaining customers well informed about the ETA of the technician and moving calls appropriately to maintain a reasonable schedule with appropriate time frames between calls. Job requirements: Schedule service calls regarding; diagnostics, tune-ups/safety inspections, maintenance, repairs, city corrections & warranties. Ensure service locations are within reasonable perimeters (clean schedule) Ensure technicians are given enough drive-time between calls (2 hours) Inputting notes on each Serviced job Collecting payment Uploading Invoice Closing out jobs Keeping track of customer turn-overs (CTOs) and repairs sold Skills/Requirements: Advanced customer service skills.
