Position description Chief Credit Officer FUNCTION: The principal role of the Chief Credit Officer is to improve quality earnings through the establishment, enforcement and oversight of all credit policies, to continually improve asset quality by proactively directing the credit culture and practices of the bank in a manner that eliminates capital and credit concentration constraints while supporting efforts to provide a valuable source of loan volume to our customers. To identify, quantify, report and respond to risk elements of the lending function by oversight to the Credit Administration, Loan Operations, and Special Assets Departments. Critical functions: 1.
