Electronics Technician - (Santa Barbara, CA)

Position summary Provides engineering hardware fabrication support, troubleshooting, testing and basic Laboratory operations responsibility. These responsibilities include fabrication of electronic/electrical chassis' and mechanical rack fabrication using development engineering drawings. Applicant must be capable of working independently, discussing technical issues with customers and working with vendors. Mandatory: Integrated Circuit Layout Technician. SBF is seeking an experienced integrated circuit technician to help advance the state of the art in infrared and visible imager readout integrated circuits (ROICs). Significant background with physical layout of mixed signal VLSI CMOS transistor level designs is required. The selected applicant will perform silicon layout of analog and digital submicron transistor level designs in support of advanced infrared cameras and imagers.
