The County Manager directs and coordinates the operations of all County Departments through a collaborative approach with the Board of County Commissioners toward policy-making, community relations and employee engagement. Serving at the pleasure of the Board of County Commissioners, the County Manager is responsible for implementation of board policies, priorities, and strategic direction of Eagle County. In addition, the County Manager establishes collaborative local and regional partnerships, drives employee and community engagement, and fosters a culture of wellness, accountability and high-quality services. The County Manager is responsible for overseeing, planning, coordinating, monitoring and leading the Deputy County Managers and Department Directors.
