Lead Teacher- Rutland County Head Start - (Rutland, VT)

Rutland County Head Start is actively recruiting for the position of a Lead Teacher in the HS/EEE Collaborative classroom Northwest two at Pierpoint Early Learning Center. This is a 35-38 hour per week position for a 47-52 week year. The applicant must have the expertise to individualize and provide a developmentally appropriate pre-school curriculum for children ages 3-5. This position embraces a unified approach that fosters teamwork and engages in partnerships with families. The experience required include: A Baccalaureate or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or a related position; Vermont State certification in Early Childhood Education; A min of 1 year background working with preschool children in a group setting.
