Information Technology Specialist I - Evening/Weekend Support FAC - (Fredericksburg, VA)

Job overview Germanna Community College is seeking a skilled technician needed to provide part time evening and weekend support for college activities and classes at the Fredericksburg Area Campus. This position will perform hardware/software installations, upgrades, maintenance and operational support for computer equipment and their peripherals; provide support for Audio Visual / Video teleconferencing equipment; and assist in responding to daily help-desk needs. This position will also provide training to faculty and staff on the operation of Audio Video and Video Conferencing equipment. Documentation and asset management are also responsibilities of this position. Max of 29 Hours per week. Min hours are: M – Th: three – 8, Sat: eight – 2 Salary: $16.39/hr Position is open until filled. 1st review of applications: December 15, 2017 Min Requirements High-school degree, GED or equivalent related skills required.
