Planner - (Austell, GA)

The incumbent is responsible for the day to day management of order demand for a specific customer. Assignments include managing demand for planned orders and unplanned forecast orders and ensuring that sufficient quantities of the material required to successfully complete orders are in place as required. This position is responsible for the input of info into the Master Production Schedule (MPS) as it pertains to forecasting, planning, and allocation of materials for use in Production/assembly of customer orders. This position will coordinate all activities and operations regarding inventory management and control, physical space allocation, machine and personnel availability within assembly operations. The incumbent will produce a proper work order packet. They will be responsible for communicating specific quality work instructions, and work-in-process qualifications with customer service, manufacturing, purchasing, quality and assembly.
