Job DescriptionCredit Specialist2900 Stanford NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107 USAJob Description: Primarily responsible for developing credit relationships in assigned markets with customers, sales team and Service Center Leaders. Collaborate together with Director of Credit to ensure timely and accurate processing of credit applications. In addition, supports the timely collection of account receivables by working closely with customers and Summit’s sales teams educating each on the importance of timely payments. Drive increased sales by analyzing credit decisions and identifying up sale credit opportunities. Develop new lines of business working closely with the service center team and proactively arranging credit lines in preparation for sales opportunities. Exceptional service to external and internal customers is critical to the success of a Credit Specialist.Principle Accountabilities: Monitor key metrics including DSO and Bad Debt and surpass goals set by department and Director of Credit.
