Position details The Certified Surgical Technician works as part of a team to set up Operating rooms, assist Surgeons in major surgical services and on complex surgical procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, etc. The Surgical Technician may handle medications in accordance with responsibilities. The ideal Certified Surgical Technician applicant is someone who is able to maintain good communication with patients, staff and physicians; and ensure appropriate protocols with procedures and customer satisfaction.
