WinField United Research Technician - Intern - (Ames, IA)

Evaluate and implement methods for new or existing measurements that improve efficiency, reduces wastes, and controls costs, through use of the research development philosophy. Work with our Soil Physical Chemist, Agronomist, Microbiologist and Researchers on new measurements that will bring value to the customers and enhance our models. Support/devise/implement relevant scientific experiments and work with lab personnel to accomplish them. Results from laboratory analyses are a critical component of data driven agriculture. The outcome of this internship is for WinField to better understand and implement lab analysis of and potentially productize soil health measurements as identified by the Soil Health Institute.
