Test Technician - (Gloucester, MA)

Position description Test Technician needed for a contract opportunity located in Gloucester, MA. Pay level: $22 to $28 dollars an hour depending on background. The Big Picture – Top Skills You Should Possess: AA/AS in Electro-Mechanical Engineering Certificate in Electronics, or equivalent and 2-three years applicable background. Microprocessor systems, digital & analog electronics, and mechanical aptitude required. Background with Microsoft applications, Lotus Notes and SAP is preferred. Background in the testing of robotic systems. High Vacuum background preferred. What You’ll Be Doing: Performing the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams. Perform connection start-up, test and troubleshoot integrated modular systems. Complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
