Preschool Teacher - (Arlington Heights, IL)

Position overview Private preschool/child care is seeking a warm, patient and imaginative preschool and child care teacher. Our teachers work with children ages 2-6 throughout the day nurturing minds while maintaining a happy, healthy and safe environment. Assignments include creating and implementing developmentally appropriate lesson plans as well as helping to maintain a safe, healthy, and happy preschool environment. Our teachers are also responsible for facilitating open communication with parents regarding progress, schedules and individual achievement. Qualified individuals should posess at least an associates degree in any field including six hours of early childhood education classes with a preference to those with at least 21 hours of early childhood education classes. Prior experience background in the field is preferred, but not required. Pay will commensurate with background. This position is for full-time or part-time employment.
