Collections Specialist - Hamden - (Hamden, CT)

Our client is looking for a Collections Specialist who can help us achieve their companies financial goals. As a Collections Specialist, you will be responsible for collections of outstanding accounts receivable dollars from the existing client base. Daily work flow will include (but not limited to) negotiating payment arrangements, answer inbound & outbound calls, along with written e-mail correspondence. The Collection Specialist should exhibit professionalism and trustworthiness. You should have outstanding communication and negotiation skills, as well as an expertise to work unaided.Required functions and Responsibilities - Reviewing open accounts for collection efforts. - Resolve inbound phone calls and making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations. - Resolves client-billing problems and rescues accounts receivable delinquency, applying good customer service in a timely manner.
