The Draper/Cutter is also responsible for leading a team and overseeing all necessary areas for the fit and completion of all costumes for all specified shows. Required functions Uses the Sketch provided by the costume designer to drape or pattern the costume Fabricates patterns, either by draping, flat patternmaking, or pattern software for specific actors Fits all costumes to the actor Cuts or supervises the cutting of all fabric for the costume from the pattern created Determines yardage for fabric and trims for the costume
