Dietary Supervisor - (Greencastle, IN)

Responsible for planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operation of the Dietary Department, under the direction of the facility Administrator. Requirements: Must possess a high-school diploma and have completed an approved dietary managers course or possess an associates degree in Dietetic Technology. CDM preferred. Prefer 2 yrs background in a supervisory capacity at a long term care facility or hospital. Training in cost control, food management, diet therapy, purchasing procedures, and budget planning. Must show the expertise to communicate effectively. Must be able to read and write in English in a legible and understandable manner. Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and physically and mentally challenged people. Able to relate positively to residents, their families, and staff. Must meet all federal, state and local health regulations and pass a post-employment-offer physical exam. This requirement includes drug screening, criminal background check, and reference inquiries.
