Linux Hadoop Administrator Essential responsibilities: #ATR Will be administrating the entire big data stack on eighteen servers - two head servers and sixteen worker servers along with the Linux servers. Responsible for all technical aspects of the company's web, with focus on big data processing. Will be maintaining servers on which web sites run (LAMP stack) REQUIRED: Extensive Linux administration experience Thorough understanding of Big Data Hadoop and Hive experience Experience with Apache server Experience with any Linux flavor (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE). Currently using RedHat. Education / Experience: Four Year degree in related position 2-four years related background Experience with Cloudera - Required MUST be able to write script (shell, powershell, Perl, ksh, bash, kornshell) Linux or RedHat certifications are a plus VMware experience is a plus Work well under pressure
