Quality Assurance Manager - (Chicago Heights, IL)

Function: Maintains the plant Quality Program and supporting documentation to appropriate standards and corporate policy and guidelines. Works with plant staff and support functions to monitor, control and reduce the overall cost of poor quality (COPQ). Represents the company and its customer-driven, quality-focused approach both internally, and externally with customers, suppliers, and external auditors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Quality Responsibilities: The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers. Duties and responsibilities are to be carried out in accordance with the PTCA Quality Management System and its policies, procedures, and work instructions as applicable to the job being performed.
