Part-Time Resource Recovery Education Assistant - (Charlotte, MI)

Compensation range: $16.30 - $21.198 Hourly twenty Hours Per Week Under the direction of the Resource Recovery Coordinator, this position provides administrative support and education programming for Eaton County's Resource Recovery Department. Responsible for the development and implementation of educational, promotional and outreach programs. Supports waste recovery efforts, including recycling and household hazardous waste disposal and the collection of a variety of recyclable materials. Completes clerical functions related to department operations, special projects and programs. Required functions Develops and executes educational programs that promote awareness in local schools concerning waste management activities. Programs include presentations and workshops targeted at various age groups and distribution of teacher resources that can be easily implemented in the classroom.
