Senior Systems Engineer - (Rome, GA)

Job description: A Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for resolving escalated service issues, coaching other engineers to resolutions, engineering and implementing complex projects, and for maintaining and overseeing the technology of the organization. This role is a key position within the service department and will be called upon to resolve the highest level technical issues. This is a direct hire opportunity in Rome, Georgia. No relocation expense offered. Responsibilities: Position assignments: Provide technical services and support for the following areas: Network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security Internal systems, cloud and network infrastructure. Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, O365, SQL, SharePoint Virtualization technologies: VMware Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications EDI document maintenance
