Position title: Lab Technician - Analytical Chemistry Location of Position: 21222 Spell Circle, Tomball, TEXAS 77375 USA Posting Number: req4269 Description: In this role, the Lab Technician will work in the Metallurgical / Corrosion Testing area in the Customer Analytical Services Laboratory. Person will use one or more of the following instruments/methods to complete daily testing: digital photography equipment, band saw, cut-off wheel, metal cleaning equipment, hardness testing equipment, metallographic microscopes, stereomicroscopes, micrometers, computer data entry systems and preparing samples for routing testing. They are responsible for running assigned daily tasks, insuring the accuracy of analytical results, and performing day-to-day work with limited supervision. Understands and follows SOPs accurately. Makes clear and correct decisions to improve personal productivity. Embraces safety and environmental polices procedures.
