Quality Engineer Senior / Goleta, CA with Security Clearance - (Goleta, CA)

Description: The position is located at Santa Barbara Focalplane in Goleta, California. The Quality Engineer shall be responsible for floor quality engineering duties including, but not limited to: The disposition of nonconforming product, the investigation and coordination of corrective actions, the generation, analysis, and presentation of performance data. Documentation review related to internal and external manufacturing processes to ensure quality products are delivered to the customer. Analysis and resolution of process issues varying from basic to very complex. Assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications, engineering drawings, procedures and ISO-9001/AS9100. Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and program personnel on performance quality issues. Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain a continuous improvement culture. Must have demonstrated presentation skills and be able to work in a cleanroom environment and attire.
