Position description The Production Manager provides leadership and management for a multi shift manufacturing operation. Leads and manages Production Supervisors, their reports, and all processes associated with achieving manufacturing production schedules. Major Responsibilities Utilizing Lean business Principles optimizes application of machine, human and material resources Direct daily operations and focus for the operation, to assure product is made safely, of acceptable quality, on time, and within budget Controls load factors and flow of work to ensure max use of available capacity and effective use of labor, tools and equipment Drive key operational measurements; safety, inventory, cost, productivity, efficiency, fulfillment, on-time delivery & quality Identifies and implements improvements in safety, quality, delivery
