MANUFACTURING ENGINEER – RESEARCH Full time – one year term, with possibility of renewal/extension beyond one year Impulse Technology, LLC (http://impulse-technology.com) is a research and development, start-up business located in State College, PA in the Happy Valley (https://happyvalley.com/), home of the Pennsylvania State University. Its core ability and interest are in innovative product and materials development, miniaturization and materials characterization. Impulse Technology is seeking applicants for a full time position in the areas of design, manufacturing and testing of prosthetic legs. Applications are invited from applicants with degrees in Manufacturing/Industrial or Mechanical Engineering. Background is sought in prototyping/manufacturing using machine tools, for example, CNC. The position necessitates significant understanding of mechanics and finite element techniques applied to mechanical design.
