Position details The Marine Painter must have 3 (3) or more years of background as a marine brush and roll painter applying epoxy and non-epoxy coatings. Background is also required in accomplishing cleaning using power tools. Responsibilities and Duties Expertise to apply coatings while maintaining desired MIL thickness. Background working in a physically demanding environment; confined spaces, working at heights, and use of half-face and full-face respiratory equipment. Expertise to use power tools to accomplish cleaning. Requirements and Skills The painter prepares the surface, masks unpainted areas, sandblast surfaces, selects the methods of coating application and provides suitable curing conditions.
