Maintenance Technician I - (Henderson, NC)

Position title: Maintenance Tech I Objectives: Provide support for the maintenance department by performing general building maintenance related tasks. Reports To: Department Supervisor, Production Manager. Position assignments: Perform maintenance on building, tools, equipment, as well as a broad spectrum of other skilled activities as needed. Examples of essential function/duties: Plumbing Basic electric work (changing bulbs/plugs) Replacing doors and hinges Painting Light mechanical maintenance work Heavy lifting required Skills/Requirements: Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination; must demonstrate expertise to apply common sense and industry knowledge in all areas related to the above responsibilities. In addition, they must be able to read and follow directions. Note: Employees generally progress through this series to the experienced level based on satisfactory performance and possession of the necessary background.
