Position details An Entry-Level applicant will provide both phone and on-site technical support for restaurant and retail establishments for a variety of Point of Sale Systems. Skills : Strong issue solving and analytical abilities. Strong oral and written communications Expertise to effectively present info in 1 one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees. Resolving network level issues: WAN/LAN connectivity, switches, routers Provide onsite POS system installation services and customer training on Point of Sale applications 1st level support of service requests in a Call Center environment Knowledge : Overall knowledge of current PC hardware Microsoft operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10) General SQL language (Microsoft SQL) Network Technologies (switches/routers) Cat5 Termination / Structured Cabling Basic understanding of restaurant operations is helpful
