Family Matters In-Home Care is hiring a Caring Companion / Caregiver to start ASAP! You will be caring for an elderly male at his home in Scotts Valley. SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 9 am to 1 pm. Responsibilities and Duties Provide companionship; playing cards, reading, board games etc. Help with some housekeeping around the home Driving to errands and appointments on occasion Assistance with meals and shopping Help with ambulation; provide stand by assistance and help getting in/out of chairs Communicate ongoing care results and updates to family and care management team Maintain a healthy, safe, and comfortable living environment
