Paralegal - Aegon AM - (Cedar Rapids, IA)

Responsibilities: Separate Accounts: Review and understand investment-related contracts and other legal documentation Understand and communicate company's position on key issues Review prospective client redlines and draft agreements and synthesize key issues, working with a designated attorney to resolve Coordinate various levels of review and approval for amendments and new agreements before signature Work well under pressure Work under min supervision of attorneys and lead paralegal, with assignments spot-checked as needed. Partner with distribution and client relations groups to manage onboarding of new investment advisory clients, implementation of investment management agreements and related documentation, as well as respond to client diligence or other regulatory related requests. Facilitate the resolution of Legal issues as they arise in the normal course of business. Assist with other related projects and tasks as needed.
