Veterinary Assistant/Technician - (Oak Ridge, TN)

Emergency clinic seeking veterinary assistant or technician. Part time and full time positions available. Student resumes welcome, however some clinical background in veterinary medicine is required. Duties include but are not limited to; reception, patient intake, obtaining histories, patient discharge, restraint, venipuncture, financial transactions, operation of blood analysis machines, operation of anesthesia equipment, patient care, lifting of patients over 50 pounds, etc. Weekends and holidays are required, as we are a true emergency clinic. General computer background required and background with Avimark is a plus. Must be dynamic and able to handle crisis and high stress situations. Serious and experienced applications only.
