No background required.POSITION SUMMARY:The nurse practitioner functions as an advanced practitioner providing primary health care for a caseload of patients in the area of clinical specialization.Compensation range$95,000-$130,000Specific Job Related Duties Responsible for performing minor research procedures such as soft tissue and adipose biopsies, blood draws and suturing. Provides counseling to results of medical tests stemming from study screenings. Placement of femoral arterial catheters for infusion studies. Discharges research subjects from inpatient studies and directs patient care after discharge. Coordinates with the clinical research team for the recruitment of study participants. Enters study data into the applicable database.
