Part-Time Copy Editor - (Indianapolis, IN)

Position title Part time Copy Editor Job Function: This position is responsible for copy editing content for ncaa.org, Champion magazine and, upon request, other materials produced by the NCAA national office. This position functions as a quality-control function to ensure consistency in style, grammar, spelling and factual accuracy in all written materials developed by the communications group and select materials from other groups in the national office. This position will report to the associate director of membership communications/editor of Champion magazine. Job duties Copy edit, fact-check and proofread written materials developed by communications for posting on ncaa.org, including feature stories, news stories and statements. Copy edit, fact-check and proofread written materials developed for Champion magazine. On request, copy edit, fact-check and proofread written materials developed by other national office groups, including promotional materials and communications to the membership.
