JOB DESCRIPTION: POSITION OVERVIEW: Will provide outpatient nursing services for children ages eleven -21 with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders as a part of the enhanced Children's Community Action Treatment (CAT) Team which will serve clients and their families in Hendry and Glades Counties. SIGN ON BONUS! MIN REQUIREMENTS: Licensed in the State of Florida as a Practical Nurse; 1 year background working with children and adults that have mental health issues. Valid Florida driver's license, current auto insurance and clear motor vehicle check is required. SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Knowledge and understanding of the characteristics of children with mental health issues, their families, and family systems. Knowledge of community resources or expertise to learn quickly as well as good organizational, time management and communication abilities. Expertise to work well with community partners and in a team environment is essential.
