Our client is currently seeking a Buyer --- Min five years procurement background in a technology industry; IT procurement preferred --- four - year business degree required, supply chain management degree a plus --- Background managing IT procurements through Requests for Quotes and Purchase order execution --- Background placing IT procurement supporting moderately complex software procurements; --- Moderate understanding of software licensing models and asset management qualifications --- Background interfacing and working with suppliers; including minor negotiations for both software and IT hardware --- Background with ERP Procurement Systems such as Oracle R12 --- Background working for a large company with $1B+ sales required --- Outstanding communication and issue solving abilities required --- Strong Ms office skills; advanced Ms excel skills preferred --- Demonstrated analytical, issue solving and process improvement skills --- Adapts quickly
